About Us

For nearly a century, Alvinas Canoe & Boat Rental LLC has helped visitors discover the beauty of Northern Michigan. Named after the owner's great-aunt Alvina, our family-owned business is known for friendly service, dependable equipment, and memorable outdoor experiences.


Located directly on the Betsie River, we offer one of the area's most peaceful and beginner-friendly paddling experiences. Enjoy calm waters, scenic forests, and opportunities to spot local wildlife while creating lasting memories with family and friends.


We also deliver rentals to Green Lake, Duck Lake, Interlochen State Park, nearby cabins, vacation homes, and Airbnb properties. For longer trips, our convenient shuttle service makes one-way paddling simple.

Proudly serving our community since 1934, we're also honored to support local organizations, including cancer survivor groups.
